Build It

“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”

– Albert Einstein

This is a “Yes, You Can” Edition.

I’m following up on the April 7th newsletter, The Desert Call. I spoke about using this past Lent and Easter to build new wineskins — a reflection from Jesus’ parable in Luke 5:37–39: you can’t put new wine into old wineskins. You can’t put new ideas into old architecture.

We’re in a time when the faithfuland the productive must be both.

It’s time to build.

It’s time to lead.

This isn’t just a prompt for email content before I move on to the next thing — this is the point of Righteous Co.: helping the faithfully productive to dream, do, and be righteous. You’ve heard that from me before, but this is a mission call rooted in experience and prayer to survey the scene. The West — and especially the Church — needs the faithful to be productive in a general lift. As the saying goes, “rising tides lift all boats.”

I pray my work in Righteous serves as a multiplier.

You have a distinct call on your life; prayer will draw it out. But few have heeded the call of the age: we need to make disciples and rebuild. Whatever that spark is — sitting on your soul and mind — don’t set it aside. There is nothing too big or too small. In fact, those who are responsible in small matters can be trusted with greater ones.

Many of you have stuck around these parts for some time. Amen! It’s great to have you here. I’m 115 editions into The Climb, and next month, I’m celebrating 10 years of Righteous Co. I’m working on something to mark the occasion — stay tuned.

But here’s the point: this isn’t a spectator sport. This isn’t a call for someone else. This is your call to get in the game. Draw out the dream, and do it. You don’t need a coach, a consultant, or even a degree (depending on the dream, maybe get qualified) to get started.

Pray on it. Sketch it out. Get feedback. Identify the resources and people you need — and get moving.

It’s a broad call for the niche dreams placed on your heart. If it’s sitting on you, it’s there for a reason. Stop tossing it aside — go and build it.

Shoot me a message with what you have cooking on the heart!
