“Start by doing what is necessary; then do what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
St. Francis of Assisi
Let’s dig in. You as the Righteous leader are called to have some pretty amazing gifts to live out the Gospel message no matter where you’re at. Maybe you’re the inspired layperson, looking to get involved somehow, and want to bring something new to the old table. Maybe you’re the ministry professional trying to go to the next level. Maybe you’re a self-starter with a bold call of the heart to lead a start-up ministry at your church.
Over the next number of editions (while taking a fun victory lap for the 100th edition), I’ll be laying out a ministry plan to help you build or consider a new outlook at building an effective organizational ministry as the leader you’ve been tasked to be.
So to start this off, I’m dedicating this series as I’ve done with RCO to the Holy Spirit. He is the Lord the Giver of Life – if you want life in your leadership, call upon the Holy Spirit as represented by the Fire of Pentecost. This Holy Flame can spread like a wildFire.
There is no dreaming or doing that goes far, especially in this realm, without the power of Christ or the Advocate He sent us for these times. There is no plan that’s a silver bullet and He can use you in ways beyond a simple layup here. Prayerfully follow the Spirit’s promptings and opportunities. He’s forming you not only for right now but for what is to come as well.
This era needs disciples on all levels to get in the game. You don’t need to be a professional Scott Hahn to get active, everyone has their charism. It just takes a “yes”.
